Island Transit Guide

Navigate Siesta Key Village

Getting around Siesta Key is easier when you know your options before heading out. Parking is worth planning for, especially if you’re visiting Siesta Key Village for dinner or spending the day at the beach. This guide covers parking locations, the trolley, and other ways to travel around the island so you can decide when to drive and when to leave the car behind.

If I were staying on Siesta Key, I’d walk whenever close enough or take the trolley or an Uber into the Village. Parking is limited, and once you’re there, the shops, restaurants, and bars are close enough to explore on foot. If you do drive, allow extra time to find a space and check posted parking restrictions before leaving your vehicle.

Weekend street parking along Ocean Boulevard fills up fast. Arrive before 10 AM or use the public parking lots just off the main drag.

Once you secure a spot, the walkable village loop puts dining, shopping, and beach access paths entirely on foot.

Hop on the Siesta Key Breeze Trolley for open-air transportation up and down the island without worrying about parking twice.

Siesta Key Village Map

Use the map below to get familiar with Siesta Key Village and locate places you’d like to visit. Ocean Boulevard runs through the main shopping and dining area, while the surrounding side streets have additional businesses and nearby vacation rentals. Looking at the layout before you arrive can help you see where your restaurant, rental, or beach access is in relation to the rest of the Village.

Most of the Village is compact enough to explore on foot, making it easy to combine shopping, a meal, and time at the beach without driving between every stop. I’d check the walking route from your accommodations before deciding whether to bring a car. If you’re staying farther away, a trolley or Uber can save you the trouble of finding parking and let you enjoy the Village at your own pace.
